The Washington Farm Bureau has endorsed Republican gubernatorial candidate Bill Bryant.
“We strongly believe Bill Bryant will support our interests valiantly,” the Farm Bureau’s president, Mike LaPlant, said in an email to members.
Bryant, a Seattle port commissioner, is seeking to unseat Democratic incumbent Jay Inslee.
Bryant and Inslee are the only gubernatorial candidates who have reported raising money, according to the Public Disclosure Commission...
...Bryant is the chairman and co-founder of Bryant Christie Inc., a Seattle trade consultant for agricultural exporters. Between 1985 and 1992, he was vice president of the Northwest Horticultural Council in Yakima.
