Bill Bryant statement on education following the State of the State
Following the governor’s 2016 State of the State speech, Bill Bryant released the following statement regarding education:
Education was an issue in the governor’s campaign. In 2014, Mr. Inslee said that education was a crisis and his top priority for 2015, but he never presented an education plan. This year, he said education is a crisis and vowed action in the 2016 legislative session, but he still does not have a plan and is content gathering data. Since he has repeatedly called this a crisis, he should present his plan and the legislature should not adjourn until they have addressed the crisis.
