Republican gubernatorial candidate Bill Bryant continues to lock down key Republican endorsements throughout Washington State.
In addition to major endorsements from former U.S. Senator Slade Gorton, Governor Dan Evans, and former Congressman Sid Morrison, Bryant has received endorsements from 35 Legislators and 37 Port commissioners. In addition, three official County Republican parties have endorsed, with more bringing Bill’s endorsement to a vote next month.
“Bill Bryant is the best opportunity for Republicans to win in 2016,” commented Senator John Braun of Chehalis. “I’m excited to see a candidate like Bill that has extensive leadership and real world business experience from both sides of the cascades. He’ll make a great Governor.”
It is my honor to endorse Bill Bryant for Washington State Governor,” said Senator Jan Angel of Port Orchard. “Our state sorely lacks leadership that must come from the top to provide the skills of interpersonal relationships and communications, consensus building and the ability to bring both the House and the Senate together as well as have the respect of the residents of the communities we all serve. Bill Bryant has these qualities.”
“Bill has spent nearly his entire career in agriculture, much of it in Central Washington,” said Representative Matt Manweller of Ellensburg. “He lived in Yakima for 7 years, worked everywhere from Omak to Walla Walla and he knows agriculture, water, and how important trade is to jobs in Central Washington.”
“I’m pleased with the support we are getting from all corners of Washington State,” said Bryant. “The messages I’m receiving are clear, there is a lack of leadership from the incumbent and it’s time to elect a leader that will bring all sides together and get stuff done.”
