Inslee's Inability to Manage Results in Thousands of Dangerous Criminals Released Early

The Inslee Administration’s incompetence often comes at a high human cost to the people of Washington. Perhaps no higher cost has been paid than when the Department of Corrections negligently released 3,200 dangerous felons before completing their sentence.

The News Tribune reported this as an “unforgivable error.”What makes this even more unforgivable is that competent management could have prevented this from happening.

At least two deaths were the result of Jay Inslee’s failure.Ceasar Medina, a 17-year old from Spokane, was shot during a botched robbery. Lindsay Hill, a mother of two, was killed when a released felon drove drunk and left the scene of an accident.

Inslee’s failure to identify problems within his own administration failed to keep the citizenry safe. It’s time for competent leadership.

Bill Bryant is already meeting with state employees, community and non-profit leaders, law enforcement officials, and affected citizens about how we can make government work better. Bill Bryant will restore competence to the Governor’s Office.
